About Alpha Outside

Alpha Outside was founded in 2022 by Chad Annon, following eight years in the archery industry with BBSK Archery. What started as a passion for hunting and gear quickly grew into a trusted brand focused on real-world experience, honest advice, and results-driven equipment.

Today, Alpha Outside specializes in thermal optics, offering scopes and monoculars selected and supported by hands-on field use—not marketing hype. Every product offered is chosen based on performance where it matters most: in real hunting conditions.

Beyond optics, Chad also operates Alpha Drone Services, providing thermal drone deer recovery and aerial services across West Virginia and surrounding areas. As an FAA Part 107–certified pilot, fully insured and licensed as a West Virginia Guide / Outfitter, Chad brings the same professional, ethical approach to recovery services as he does to gear sales.

Alpha Outside is also home to The Alpha Outside Podcast, where Chad hosts conversations with hunters, outdoorsmen, and industry professionals—covering hunting strategy, thermal technology, and real-world stories from the field.

In addition, Chad is the founder of the Alpha Games, a competitive predator-hunting tournament built around fair rules, ethical hunting, and community-driven competition.
