3.4  The Following are prohibited

  • Chasing with dogs

  • Trapping

  • Hunting over bait

  • Road kill

4. Verification of Kills

4.1. Each kill must be verified via video. Submissions must be uploaded through the official platform Facebook Group Messenger designated for this hunt prior to the hunting deadline. Videos suspected of tampering will lead to disqualification.
Submissions must include the following:

  1. All team members' faces.

  2. The coyote being shaken.

  3. Verbally state the hunt code numbers provided at the start of the event.

  4. Ear being cut off (the specific ear (right or left) will be announced at the same time the hunt code is released).

  • If all 4 of these requirements are not included in the video, the coyote will not be counted.

  • Take your time in making the video to ensure everything has been included. Writing the hunt code, and which ear side on your hand isn't a bad idea.

  • If a color phase coyote is taken, the required ear cut will be waived, as the ear cut is only used to prevent multiple submissions of the same coyote, But all other verification procedures are still required.

4.2. Only coyotes harvested during official tournament hours are eligible for submission and scoring.

4.3. In the event of a minor mistake or omission in a verification video, tournament officials may allow a corrected or additional verification video to be submitted at their discretion. This allowance is intended for honest mistakes only and may not be used to correct major verification failures or suspected rule violations.

Tournament officials reserve the right to reject any submission they believe does not meet verification requirements.

5. Scoring System

5.1. Each verified coyote counts as 1 point.

5.2. In the event of a tie, the tie breaker will be based on the timestamp of the final scoring coyote video submitted in the official Alpha Games group chat. The actual kill time does not matter.

Example:

  • Team A kills their 3rd coyote at 1:00 AM but does not submit the video until 2:00 AM due to poor service.

  • Team B kills their 3rd coyote at 1:30 AM and successfully submits their video at 1:40 AM.

Team B would receive the higher placement because their final scoring coyote was submitted first in the group chat.

Teams are expected to submit verification videos immediately after each kill is made. Hunting in poor service areas is done at the team’s own risk. Delayed submissions caused by poor service, waiting to upload later, or failure to travel to a service area will not be considered grounds for dispute.

All submission timestamps shown in the official Alpha Games group chat will be considered final.

6. Disqualification and Conduct

6.1. Hunters caught violating laws or tournament rules will be disqualified.
6.2. Any form of cheating, unsportsmanlike conduct, or harassment will result in immediate removal.
6.3. Respect for private property and ethical hunting practices is mandatory.

6.4  No pooling of Coyotes between teams.

6.5  Teams must remain together while actively hunting. Splitting up into separate hunting locations, stands, or vehicles is prohibited.
6.6  If a team member permanently leaves the hunt, the team is no longer eligible to continue competing.
