All official announcements, hunt codes, updates, and rule clarifications will be posted on the Alpha Games Facebook page.
Participants are responsible for monitoring the Alpha Games Facebook page for all official updates.
1. Registration & Entry
1.1. Teams must register by 9:00 PM on Friday, February 20.
1.2. Entry fee is $125 per team. (Plus 3% CC Fee)
1.3. 100% payback of all entry fees.
1.4. Teams may consist of up to four (4) hunters.
1.5. Participants must be 18 years of age or older, or have parental consent.
2. Tournament Dates & Times
2.1. Alpha Games: The Grind is a seven (7) consecutive day tournament. Running from February 21 through March 1
2.2. Hunting begins at 7:00 AM on Day One (Feb. 21st) and concludes at the close of the final weigh-in window on Day Seven (March 1st).
2.3. Daily weigh-ins will occur during a designated two-hour window from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM each evening. Weigh-ins will be held at:

2.4. Teams are not required to weigh in daily, but all submissions must occur during an official weigh-in window.
3. Hunting Hours & Legal Methods
3.1. Hunting is permitted day or night, provided all activity complies with local, state, and federal laws where the hunter is participating.
3.2. Legal firearms, optics, thermal optics, night vision, electronic calls, hand calls, and mouth calls are permitted where lawful.
3.3. The following are strictly prohibited:

Chasing with dogs
-
Trapping
-
Hunting over bait
-
Roadkill
-
Pooling animals between teams
Only registered team members may participate in harvesting animals for the team.
4. Team Participation & Conduct
4.1. Teams may consist of one (1) to four (4) registered participants. Team size must be declared at registration and may not be changed after the tournament begins.
4.2. Teams are not required to hunt together as a full unit and may operate separately due to scheduling or work conflicts.
4.3. For teams consisting of two (2) or more registered participants, a minimum of two (2) registered team members must be hunting together and present at the time of harvest for any qualifying animal.
4.4. Solo Team Exception:
Teams consisting of only one (1) registered participant are permitted. In the case of a solo team, the two-member harvest requirement does not apply.
4.5. Only registered team members may participate in harvesting animals for the team.
4.6. Unsportsmanlike conduct, cheating, or rule violations will result in disqualification.
5. Kill Verification (Video Required – Main Tournament Only)
5.1. Each coyote must be verified by one continuous, unedited video recorded immediately after harvest and submitted during an official weigh-in window.
5.2. The verification video must clearly include:

The harvested animal

A shake test
-
Verbal statement of the official hunt code
5.3. For teams consisting of two (2) or more registered members, a minimum of two (2) registered team members must be clearly visible in the verification video.
5.4. For solo teams, the registered participant must be clearly visible in the verification video along with the harvested animal and hunt code.
5.5. Coyotes without a complete verification video will not be accepted for the main tournament.
5.6. Videos suspected of editing, staging, or tampering will result in disqualification.
5.7. All animals must be harvested during official tournament dates and times.
5.8. Hunt codes will be issued by tournament officials. Teams are responsible for using the current active hunt code.
6. Scoring
6.1. Teams will be scored by the total combined weight of their heaviest three (3) qualifying coyotes.
6.2. Only the heaviest qualifying coyotes per team will count toward final placement.
6.3. Ties will be broken by:

Heaviest single coyote

If still tied, earliest final weigh-in submission
7. Side Pots (Optional)
7.1. Side pots are $20 each (Plus 3% CC Fee), optional, and paid out at 100%.
7.2. Available side pots:

7.3. Side pot entries do NOT require video verification.
7.4. Side pot results will be determined by scale weight at weigh-in.
7.5. All side pot animals must be legally harvested within tournament dates and locations.
7.6. Tournament officials reserve the right to refuse any side pot entry deemed illegal, unsportsmanlike, or questionable in origin.
8. Weigh-In Requirements
8.1. At least one registered team member must be present at weigh-in.
8.2. No third-party submissions are allowed.
8.3. Tournament officials reserve the right to refuse any animal deemed improperly verified, illegally harvested, excessively decomposed, previously frozen, or altered in an unsportsmanlike manner.
9. Liability & Legal Disclaimer
9.1. All participants acknowledge that hunting is an inherently dangerous activity and participate at their own risk.
9.2. Alpha Outside LLC assumes no liability for accidents, injuries, property damage, or legal violations.
9.3. Participants agree to hold Alpha Outside LLC harmless from any claims arising from participation.
10. Tournament Authority
10.1. Tournament officials reserve the right to interpret rules, resolve disputes, disqualify teams, and amend rules as necessary.
10.2. All decisions by tournament officials are final.
